Located in Leucadia/Encinitas Ca on hwy coast 101 is a new organic mexican/organic, vegetarian taco stand that offers food that is from locally grown produce and meats called Haggos Organic Tacos. The place is small and quaint and all tables are outside with umbrellas.
The food is really good and can be different in a good way depending on what you order (because of what vegetables are in season). Twice I have ordered the veggie burrito and both times it was great. If you are in a rush then wait until you are not. Because this place has the vibe that comes only from Leucadia. It takes time to make healthy fresh food.
Haggos is a great guy and will take the time to answer any question you might have from vegetables to the CSA program. Both chefs, yes chefs, are back there truly enjoying what they are doing and that translates over to the foo. Just take your time sit back and you will experience some of the best food North County has to offer.
