Wednesday night at Zenbu Sushi in Cardiff-by-the sea has been the place to be since they started Wet Wednesdays. Believe it or not there is a line out the door in Cardiff, who would of thought. If you like girls then you will like Wednesday nights at Zenbu. If you like good sushi, then you will love this place. Sushi Chef Tyler Mars has a roll he created, perfectly called, the “Couger Bait”. It is topped with Gold Flakes. Pretty damn legit. They keep the fish you can eat in a big aquarium right in the restaurant. If you like Spanish Mackerel, then you can have it fresh from the tank. Also in the tank are giant lobster that add decor to an already well designed restaurant.
For a perfect night there, order a Cougar Bait, Salmon skin hand roll, a goose soda and lime, and a chefs sashimi plate. Then be prepared to strike up some conversation with the several, did I say several ladies that are eating and hanging.
